Conceptually, the Argentinean National Emblem embodies the republican agreement expressed in the shaking of the hands. But those hands, although the National Constitution does not mention the following, have always been presented as those belonging to athletic white men, maybe soldiers.
The new design broke that norm, by including the variables of diversity of the skin colour and of proportions in the social contract, which represent the Argentineans.
