When I was hired for designing the brand of Victoria Hall (Ireland), I fully understand my client’s expectations for having a new identity for his business. It was a time when the historic building, rustic style house, was converted in a modern restaurant. It also sought to attract new customers to the restaurant while at the same time providing a sense of old story and family environment to their costumers.
After completing my research, I found that my challenge was the incorporation of the history of the place, which was a building that for hundreds of years entertained sailors which sailed up the River Shannon, many of them rowers, with the theme of being a restaurant. Then, I proposed a policy of image and from it, the mark design.
The brand was warmly received by both new customers and as per usual and still endures as the identity of the restaurant. Victoria Hall successfully completed its transformation becoming a popular international restaurant, attracting a large number of people.
